Nisswa
comes alive for every
season of the year. This quaint village, found 12 miles north of Brainerd, is as famous
for its crystal waters as for its friendly people. Summer time bustles with the arrival of
tourists looking for unique shopping, world class golf, or a quiet resort vacation. The
Gull Lake Chain, located just south of Nisswa, provides year-round fun and recreation.
Winter brings people that ski and snowmobile to the area while February is marked by the Winter
Jubilee celebration - three days of winter fun, including a parade down main street. Fall
and Spring are somewhat more relaxed with biking, golf, hunting and fishing.
